The Narrative:

​

The concept evolved around 'dreams' and 'sleep' alongside inserting Thai elements and materials into the design to showcase Thai craftsmanship. This developed the idea of floating Thai bamboo hammocks cradling fragile while orchids to give a pop of white amongst the lush greenery.

Apart from providing an installation that seamlessly blends into the interior of the mall this installation also signifies (invisible) dreams causally floating above by passers heads, like thought bubbles, as they walk by.

​

Another separate element to the mall this second installation was an attempt to showcase the hybrid between Western elements with Thai Craftsmanship.

The form being that of a chandelier but made from Thai flowers and bright colour scheme that alludes to the themes of Thai festivities.
